Transportation
All students who wish to ride the bus must first obtain a bus pass from
the School Bus Office. The School Bus
Office is located at Rainbow Elementary School and the number is DSN:
468-7874 or CIV: 0981-183-874.
Not many of our students ride the bus. Most students live on post.
The actual number is probably 10% of our school population. There are 3
bus routes. Children are dropped off at the back of the school in the
morning and they line up there after school to board the buses.
Good conduct is essential to ensure safe, orderly, and timely conveyance
of students. Parents are asked to make a special effort to counsel
their students on bus safety and to insist on appropriate behavior.
Students who do not exhibit proper, safe behavior on the school bus may
be asked to make other arrangements for getting to and from school.
Staff members monitor the bus area when students are dismissed from
school.
WE DO NOT want students running for the buses. This is an important
