Percussion/Drum Club
Meeting Day: every Thursday
In this class we play melodies and chords on percussion instruments. We create our own percussion accompaniments and perform solos, duets, and ensembles. We also explore the basic principles of music, know as Music Theory and how it relates to percussion. We perform in a wide variety of musical styles and learn about the cultures and environments from which those styles developed. In addition to how percussion finds its niche in all of them.
