Odyssey of the Mind Club

Odyssey of the Mind (OM) is an international creative problem-solving competition, held annually in February or March. A team of up to 7 students pits its solution to an open-ended problem against other teams solving the same problem in a competition. Illesheim's team of 7 have been working together since November to get ready for the competition March 29th.
Congratulations OM Team
Illesheim's OM Team competed against 10 other teams at the 2007-2008 European DoDDS Odyssey of the Mind Tournament. The team was awarded 1st place in the *Long-Term Problem performance. They were also awarded special recognition for their teamwork.
*The team was required to create a humorous performance about three eccentric characters that demonstrated odd behavior, peculiar mannerisms, and unconventional dress. The characters had to solve a problem within or involving an Earth system. As a reward, a celebration is held in their honor and they end up launching a new fad.
